ASA calls for submissions on the review of its Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code
New Zealanders are being invited to offer their views on the Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code that the advertising industry are required to follow.
The ASA Codes Committee invites consumers, the health and education sectors, the advertising industry, media, and other individuals and organisations to engage with this process over the coming months as part of the regular review of ASA Codes.
The closing date for submissions to the review is 23 August 2019. To assist submitters, a consultation paper including a draft code is available to download here: Consultation Paper and Draft Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code June 2019.
