We’re Hiring! Seeking a Marketing & Communications Advisor and an Administrator

We are currently looking for people to fill two important roles at the ASA.  We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Advisor (permanent, 20 hours per week) and an Administrator (12 month contract, full time).

Marketing and Communications Advisor

The ASA is a self-regulatory organisation that sets the standards for responsible advertising in New Zealand. Your time will be spent working with the Chief Executive to support the strategic objectives of the ASA and its mission of “Every ad a responsible ad”.

Whether you are currently employed in a marketing and communications role or looking to return to the workforce, we want someone with excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Your communication skills and attention to detail are second to none. You will be skilled in producing content for a range of channels and you will have experience in providing strategic engagement and communications planning and delivery.

If you’re also a fast learner who works well in a small team, you’ll fit in perfectly with us. The role provides an opportunity to learn plenty about industry self-regulation and advertising standards and it also means meeting key industry players and working with a friendly team in a great location in central Wellington.

This is a part time role (20 hours per week) with flexibility to structure hours to suit other commitments.

ASA Administrator

Keen to get your foot in the door to advertising and marketing? This role (12 month contract) will give you the opportunity to join us, and get to know the inner workings of this unique industry.

The ASA is a self-regulatory organisation that sets the standards for responsible advertising in New Zealand. Your time will be spent working with the team on progressing complaints through our system and helping out with the day-to-day running of the office.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or someone looking to return to the workforce, you’ll have a keen interest in advertising and marketing, and great skills with the MS Office suite. Your communication skills and attention to detail are second to none – qualities that will see you excel in this role. If you’re also a fast-learner who works well in a small team, you’ll fit in perfectly with us. A tertiary qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
