The ASA is an industry funded organisation supporting standards in advertising. We believe our complaints process is robust and fair. It is important to be open to scrutiny and one way we do this is to publish all the decisions made by the Complaints and Appeal Boards via our website. We include the text of the complaint, any responses received and the decision of the Board. News coverage of our decisions also assists with compliance and raises awareness of the importance of advertising standards.
The ASA has agreed a policy of having seven years of decisions searchable via the website. Please contact the ASA office if you are trying to locate a decision prior to 2012 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The ASA does not release copies of advertisements that have been complained about. If you want copies of this copyrighted material, please contact the Advertiser in the first instance.
